MCR Students are recruiting for a Property Operations Administrator to join our successful and expanding team based in Manchester!
As an administrator you will be working closely with the Head of Operations and providing Student Accommodation Management administration services to our accommodation portfolio.
Responsibilities:
Coordinating weekly & monthly management reports
Processing of purchase orders and invoices
Raising of cheque request, refunds and credit notes
Supporting service and supply contractors, securing documentation and handling enquires
Maintenance and auditing all tenancy schedules
Handling telephone enquiries from tenants and suppliers
Supporting the Accommodation Managers in the complaints process
Tenancy Management: Assist with move-ins, move-outs, tenancy agreements, deposit returns and compliance documentation.
Maintenance Coordination: Log and track maintenance issues, liaise with contractors, and ensure timely resolution.
Data & System Management: Support in maintaining the property management systems and databases with accurate tenant and financial information.
Event & Community Support: Assist on-site teams with planning and delivering student engagement events and communications.
Financial Administration: Support with rent collection, debtor management and financial reporting.
Office Administration: Organise files, maintain record-keeping systems, and support general office administrative duties.
Suitable candidate would be:
Someone with an attention to detail
Experience using Microsoft Excel to a good standard
Previous experience working in administration or a similar role
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Lettings and Property Management experience desirable
Able to build strong relationships with the accommodation managers
Experience using property or CRM software (although training will be provided)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach to tasks
Customer service focused, ideally with experience in a front-facing role
Knowledge of UK tenancy law or willingness to learn
Full UK driving licence (travel to sites may be required)
