Key Responsibilities
Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently
Handle reservations, amendments, and cancellations
Answer phone calls, emails, and guest enquiries promptly
Process payments and maintain accurate billing records
Provide information about the hotel and local area
Handle guest requests, complaints, and feedback professionally
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness
Maintain the reception area to a high standard at all times
Ensure compliance with hotel policies and data protection standards
Requirements & Skills
Previous experience in a hotel reception or customer service role preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
Good knowledge of hotel systems (e.g. Opera, Guestline, etc.) is an advantage
Ability to remain calm under pressure
Professional appearance and attitude
Basic IT and administrative skills
Working Hours
Shift-based role (including early, late, weekends, and bank holidays)
