Handyman – Small Works Maintenance

We are now looking to recruit a skilled and reliable Handyman to join our Small Works Maintenance Team, supporting our residential portfolio in Coventry. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys variety, and understands the importance of delivering a responsive and professional maintenance service.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out reactive maintenance and day-to-day repairs across occupied buildings, ensuring properties remain safe, compliant, and well presented at all times. Duties will include undertaking minor plumbing, carpentry, and basic HVAC works, inspecting and maintaining building systems and equipment, and installing, repairing, or replacing fixtures and appliances as required. You will maintain accurate records of completed works, work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure jobs are delivered efficiently, and communicate professionally with property managers and residents when required.
We are looking for someone with proven experience in a handyman or similar maintenance role, with a strong all-round knowledge of general building maintenance. You should be comfortable using hand and power tools safely, capable of working independently while also being a strong team player, and flexible enough to support occasional paid evening or weekend work when required.
